Yes, it was a wonderful football game down in Marshfield with our Hingham Raiders. Clearly there is the fun of winning. However, nothing like the fun of winning while playing in the mud with the blessings of your mom. The mud filled field was dominated by our white wearing Raiders. Running plays with sliding foot work and tackles ending with a splash kept the fans entertained. Great job to all the players and coaches! -Sorry for the rain blurred photos

Leigh Zawell took some great pics at the D5 Mites JV game vs.
Bridgewater at Legion Field. The Mites lost but it was a well fought
out battle. These kids are exciting to watch and will continue to be

From Hingham to Scituate

Today was a busy day. I started off the day paying a visit to the D2
Mites (4th Grade) to take some pics of this exciting team playing
Dennis-Yarmouth. Then at halftime jetted down 3A to catch the D5
Midgets (7th Grade) and the D5 PeeWees (5th grade) battle Scituate.

Flag Football opens it Season....

Stopped by Lynch Field later this afternoon for Flag Football's
opening day. Took a few quick snaps before heading back to get ready for tomorrow's games. I hope to get more next weekend.

D5 JV Hingham V. Scituate

Hingham D5 was busy today. Team pictures before the first game with D2 team pics to be up next. In the meantime here are some pics from Hingham's first meeting with Scituate this year. Both Mites & PeeWees came up with a win. Midgets had the bye. Tomorrow we all go to Scituate. On my way to will stop by the High School for pics with D2. Now off to Flag Footballs opening day at Lynch Field. - Andy

Sideline Portraits in association with Hingham Youth Football will be holding a picture day on during the following JV dates.

September 27th for D2 (4th, 6, & 8th grade teams) individual

October 4th for D5 (3rd, 5th & 7th grade teams) individual

Also on September 20th D5 will have their team portraits taken, with D2 team portraits taken the following week with individual portraits.

10% of net profits go to Hingham Youth Football League. More information to follow.

The first night game was a great time. Especially the 3rd grade team where they almost came from behind to tie it up in the last few minutes against Taunton.... Final score Taunton 14 Hingham 6.

Their next night game is this Tuesday Sept. 16th kickoff at 5:30. If you get a chance stop by to see these young Raiders play. They play hard and look to be pretty exciting to watch this season. - Andy

Well it's official the HYF season has begun after last Sunday's rain-
out. Here are some pics I took as I roamed the sidelines. I can't
wait for Hingham's first football night game at Lynch field tonight
versus Taunton. Stay tuned because I will be posting highlights from
